GENERAL INTRO:​

We have been discussing and experimenting with capturing the light - a general point has been that the light comes out of the dark areas.

Below are the artists we have looked at so far this spring term.

Some of the work we have also used as reference to simplify our descriptions of objects and space with strong brush marks and thick, impasto, paint - so using the brush and the paint itself to do a lot of the work.
